Top Five Targets
Communication Communication between parents/guardians, the governing body and school staff is key to bringing alive the vision for Benchill Primary School. Improved communication is one of the key targets. Accessibility to parents/guardians Understanding the concerns and ambitions of parents/guardians is key to a thriving school. This should be followed by appropriate actions. This is our second key target. Accessibility to children Children are at the centre of a thriving school. The Benchill Primary School governing body wishes to become more responsive to the needs of its pupils. They are the ones best able to tell us if their school is as good as should be and are a key partner in raising standards. This is our third key target.
Monitoring Progress Benchill Primary School has a well thought out plan of action to raise standards across the school. This is key to making Benchill Primary School successful. The governing body, as its fourth key target, is committed to working with and supporting the school in delivering the action plan for the benefit of all its children. Broadening Horizons The governing body is committed to broadening horizons of the children of Benchill Primary School. One way of doing this is through understanding other cultures. Within the governing body, there are links to schools in Africa. These links will be used to enrich the children's horizons and their citizenship skills.
