Hi, I was Head Girl way back in 1963 along with Michael Penny as Head boy. The old place has certainly changed for the better. No more draughty corridors to walk down and no more having to run outside and round and in again to the toilets!

i was one of the first people to go here i love d it here it was an amazing time

I attended your school 1967-1969,I think.I left England with my folks in 69 to settle in South Africa and am very happy here despite what you hear.I lived at 71 Shayfield Drive (I think that's how you spell it)

I came back for a visit in 81 and saw a big change even then.My mom's side of the family still live in and around the area.

I now live in Durban,Kwa-Zulu Natal province on the east coast and love it

Hello. I have just looked around your website. This is the first time I have seen Benchill Junior School since I left .... in 1966! The headmaster then was a Mr Thomas. Things have certainly changed! I have been a teacher for the past 20 years. I have taught in Wales and Essex. I am a Chemistry teacher in a Sixth Form College. Maybe one day I will pay a visit!

i like the school because there are fantastic teachers.
